Yes. Contracts are the most important way to legally protect your business. Contracts make sure you get paid for your products or services, set clear expectations for your clients, protect you from liability, and secure your intellectual property interests.
do I need a website terms of use?
Yes. A website Terms of Use is your contract with your users and anyone else who visits your website. It tells your users how to behave and what kind of behavior is and is not acceptable. It is where you disclaim liability for any errors or misinformation on your site and claim ownership of any intellectual property. Your Terms of Use outlines other important policies, like your payment and refund policy, and sets forth how and where disputes about your website are handled.
DO I NEED A WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY?
Yes. If you collect personal information from any viewers located in California or the EU you are legally required to have a Privacy Policy. Aside from the fact that some jurisdictions have laws that require commercial websites to have Privacy Policies (CalOPPA, EU GDPR, COPPA), it’s good practice to have a Privacy Policy. Your customers want to know how their private information is being shared and stored. And if you run Google or Facebook ads, or use Google Analytics and collect user information, these third parties require you to have a Privacy Policy.

CAN I SHARE MY TEMPLATES FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO USE?
No. As you’ll see in our Terms of Use, contract templates are for your individual/business use only. You cannot share them with friends/family, etc. for their own individual/business needs.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Due to the immediate, direct access to the digital templates, we do not offer a refund of any kind. Additionally, if you sign up for a payment plan, we do not allow you to cancel the remaining payments for any reason. WHAT happens if there is a new law and the contracts get updated?
All of our contracts come with lifetime updates. If we update the contract, we will send you the updated version.
I live outside of the USA, can I use your templates?
Our templates are designed for female entrepreneurs in the United States. In the future, we plan to offer templates to customers outside of the U.S. - make sure you sign up for our newsletter to receive updates!
